The SAGA:

Lovely and seldom seen, the Mk III “radial” dial is (for me) the most unusual matte 1675 dial. I think the inset luminous plots are a stroke of genius and I’ll tell you why. First, let’s remind ourselves that this watch is meant to display both local and “GMT” time. To my eye, moving the luminous plots closer to the center helps set the local and GMT times apart by further isolating them.

Tech Specs:

Reference: 1675

Year of manufacture: 1978

Dial: Excellent Mk III radial dial with yellow sticky note-colored luminous plots. Under a loupe there is exceedingly light raised texture throughout the dial. The 9:00 marker has a tiny spot justified to the left side. Again, you need a loupe to see it. The hands match the dial perfectly.

Bezel insert: Simply outstanding pepsi bezel insert with a gradient to the blue portion.

Case: Professionally refinished case with thick lugs and sharp bevels on all four lugs. Light wear throughout.

Bracelet: Excellent US C&I rivet bracelet with light stretch and light wear throughout. Dated to ‘78.
