The SAGA:
Maxi dials are so named due to the generous portion of luminous material acting as the hour markers. The Mk I was the first of the Maxi dials (duh), and the last sub to have the depth rating above “submariner.” Another charming characteristic of the Mk I is the zorro-like zigzag “S” in submariner.

Dial: Superb and original Maxi Mk I dial. 12:00 marker has exceedingly slight spotting at the top of the plot.
Bezel insert: Fat font, kissing 40 bezel insert remains a rich black.
Case: Has seen a polish historically, but the lugs are thick and even. Original bevels still visible on all four corners.
Bracelet: Tight 93150 with matching VC date code and 580 end links.
Movement: Rolex caliber 1520
Accessories: Trying to make “maximum mark one” a thing.
