The Saga:
The GMT-Master was introduced in 1955 with the reference 6542. It had a delicate bakelite bezel and a radium-lumed dial. While these attributes aid in making that reference beautiful, they make it difficult to wear, even occasionally. New materials technologies and manufacturing processes gave way to the aluminum bezel and tritium dial of the 1675. When combined, they make it a more robust watch, capable of being worn every day!
Freshly Serviced by none other than Dr. Gregory Petronzi of True Patina. Invoice included in the pics.
