Dial: Truly Excellent Mk IV dial showing no imperfections whatsoever. The luminous plots have aged to a warm, parchment color, remain completely intact, and have no blemishes or spotting. The hands match perfectly.
Bezel insert: Outstanding mega fat insert which has subtle fading, presenting a Yale blue and brick red. Never have I been so sorely tempted to steal an insert off of a watch.
Case: Recently professionally restored by our friends at Zimmerman Watch Repair. The case is exactly as it would have left the factory in ‘77. Thick, even lugs with sharp but modest chamfers in all four corners, and a “shelf” on the crown guards.
Bracelet: 78360 with 580 end links. Minimal stretch, if any at all. “A” date code, which translates to ‘76.
Movement: Rolex caliber 1575.
Accessories: Turning heads while turning bezels.
