The SAGA: 

Fresh to market and fresh back from service, this Maxi II has some fantastic patina going for it. It’s so warm, I liken it to a having a campfire on your wrist!

As for a little background on Maxi Mk II dials, they are of course the second version of the legendary maxi dial subs, and were first seen in 1978. Also, this would be the first time that “submariner” would be printed above the depth rating. This is the easiest way to tell if a 5513 has a maxi dial!

Dial: Outstanding Maxi Mk II dial with even butterscotch patina on the luminous plots. The original hands have aged to a toasted tobacco color.

Bezel insert: Excellent Mk III bezel insert that has aged a rich, dark umber color with warm numerals and a luminous pip that matches the dial patina.

Case: Recently professionally refinished and utterly flawless. Sharp bevels are present on all four lugs.

Bracelet: Excellent 93150 with 10 links and 580 end links. F date code.

Movement: Freshly serviced caliber 1520
